SeaWorld whale show resumes days after trainer killed

Tilikum, the 12,000-pound orca longhorn that dragged Dawn Brancheau underneath water, in the future drowning her, will go on to perform. But no one will be authorised in the H2O with him or any of the company"s alternative torpedo whales until an review is finished, Jim Atchison, SeaWorld"s arch executive, pronounced on Friday.

Brancheau was on a height at the side of the pool, rubbing off the whale after a opening on Wednesday when the animal grabbed her ponytail in his mouth, Mr Atchison told a headlines discussion at the park.

The orca thrashed Brancheau around and pulled her underneath water. Investigators pronounced she died of mixed mishap and drowning.

A witness had formerly pronounced the whale grabbed Brancheau by the waist and a sheriff"s orator pronounced she had slipped in to the pool, but Mr Atchison pronounced the park"s research showed the whale had pulled her in by her hair.

SeaWorld halted the whale shows at the play ground in Orlando and at the parks in San Diego, California, and San Antonio, Texas, after the collision but will restart them on Saturday, Mr Atchinson told a televised headlines conference.

However, he said, trainers will not be authorised in the H2O with the orcas at any of the parks whilst SeaWorld conducts an review in to the genocide and reviews the manners and procedures, he said. Whale experts from alternative sea reptile comforts and from the US Navy will stick on the investigation, he said.

The shows formerly featured trainers roving on the whales and behaving alternative stunts with them.
