Former Tory MP Winston Churchill dies

He was 69 and had been battling with cancer for dual years.

After operative as a unfamiliar match in the 1960s, Mr Churchill served as a Manchester MP in between 1970 and 1997.

He was, prior to his death, the boss of the UK National Defence Association (UKNDA), that campaigns for some-more resources for the armed forces. He was one of the founders of the organisation in 2007.

Mr Churchill"s father was Randolph Churchill, an additional Tory MP and the son of Sir Winston Churchill, the wartime budding minister.

Colonel Bob Stewart, vice-president of the UKNDA, said: "Winston was a entirely decent man and a good crony to me.
